Good news, all Mohala sunglasses are custom adjustable. Watch this video to learn how to adjust your Mohala frames. If they are too loose you can tighten the sunglasses arms to fit more snugly behind your ears. If they are too tight you can loosen them. Our metal frames have custom adjustable nose pads. If the frames are resting on your cheeks hold the nose pad between your thumb and forefinger with one hand and grip the sunglasses lens firmly with the other. Pull the nose pad away from the frame firmly and slowly. This will create more space between the frame and your face.

When not wearing your sunglasses store them in their microfiber pouch in their case. The pouch can also be used to clean the lenses and frames. You can wash the pouch in your washing machine and it's important to use a clean pouch to clean your frames so you don't rub dirt into the lenses or scratch them during cleaning.
Keep them out of extreme heat as this can cause the frames to lose their shape. If they do it is fixable! Watch this video to learn how to adjust your frames.
Yes all frames except the Keahi and the Malia can be fitted with prescription lenses. You can take them to any eye doctor or prescription lens retailer to have the lenses replaced with prescription lenses. We also now offer prescription frames for sale online too.
Prescription Glasses FAQ
We currently are only making distance single vision glasses for powers +/-4. So sorry we are currently not making progressive lenses or readers.
Step 1. Choose your desired frame
Step 2. Input your lens prescription including your pupillary distance. Your eye doctor will have your pupillary distance on file and you can usually receive it by phone or email.
Step 3. Choose your lenses. If you need help choosing, see below!
That's it! You are ready for your new custom glasses!
All of our prescription glasses are made with polycarbonate lenses because they are the most impact-resistant material made for eyeglasses. These thinner, lighter lenses allow for maximum comfort and durability for those with children or active lifestyles.
Blue light filtering lenses may reduce eyestrain when using digital screens. These lenses are specifically designed for today's digital world to provide sharper vision and better sleep.
Polarized lenses add a chemical filter to the lens that cuts the sun's strong glare to enhance views and deepen colors. These lenses are especially recommended for driving and outdoor activities with bright sunlight.
Anti-reflective lenses provide 100% front and back UV sun protection. They eliminate 99% of visible glare and light reflections on the backside of the lens, which makes vision more comfortable, especially in sunny conditions.
UV400 means 100% sun protection from UVA and UVB sun rays. Too much UV light can cause cataracts or destroy the retina so this UV protection helps to protect your eyes from sun damage.
HSA/FSA FAQs
A Health Savings Account (HSA) is a pre-tax account that allows you to save money for qualified healthcare expenses. Typically, you can open an HSA when enrolling in a High Deductible Health Plan (HDHP). These accounts are individually owned, meaning the funds roll over each year and remain yours, even if you change jobs.
A Flexible Spending Arrangement (FSA), on the other hand, is an employer-provided benefit that also lets you set aside pre-tax dollars for qualified healthcare expenses. However, FSA funds generally do not roll over at the end of the year unless your employer permits it, and the remaining balance is forfeited if you leave your job.
Using your pre-tax HSA or FSA funds can save you 30% to 50% on eligible healthcare expenses like Mohala prescription frames and lenses!
Yes! You can use your HSA or FSA dollars to purchase eligible products on our website (prescription frames and lenses) through the Sika Health payment option. Eligible items are clearly marked as "HSA/FSA eligible" in the Product Description. Simply add these items to your cart, choose the “Sika | Pay with HSA/FSA” payment method at checkout, and follow the prompts. No need for receipts, reimbursements, or extra steps—it's quick and hassle-free! HSA/FSA dollars cannot be used with Try Before You Buy carts.
If your cart includes both eligible and ineligible products, Sika Health simplifies the process. At checkout, select the “Sika | Pay with HSA/FSA” payment option, and your cart will automatically split into eligible and ineligible subtotals. You can then apply the appropriate payment method for each subtotal, and we will take care of the rest!
No worries! Sika Health can check your available HSA/FSA balance, charge the eligible amount, and let you use a backup credit or debit card for the rest. Simply enter your card details as usual and follow Sika Health’s prompts—it’s that easy!
There are a few possible reasons for this issue. Your HSA/FSA card may not be activated, or you could be trying to purchase items that are not eligible with HSA/FSA funds. If you believe the issue is something else, feel free to contact us at support@sikahealth.com for assistance.
